High-Density Granite Composition
Lowcountry Pavers are manufactured with granite aggregate and a high cement-to-aggregate ratio. This results in a dense paver that exceeds 10,000 PSI, making them stronger than standard poured concrete and more durable than our competitors.
Tight-Face Technology
Our high-compression manufacturing process eliminates internal air pockets. This "tight-face" finish prevents water penetration and surface erosion, protecting the pavers from the "pocking" and structural failure common in lower-density products during freeze-thaw cycles.
Permanent Color Integrity
Unlike surface-dyed alternatives, our pavers utilize high-grade pigments integrated throughout the entire stone. This ensures long-term UV resistance and prevents the fading or "white-speckling" that occurs when surface pastes wear down on inferior products.
Lifetime Structural Warranty
All products meet or exceed ASTM C-936 standards for interlocking concrete pavers. We provide a lifetime guarantee against cracking, a level of structural assurance that mass-market and big-box retailers typically do not offer.

Your home deserves 10,000 PSI
Most pavers on the market meet the ASTM C-936 requirement of 8,000 PSI, but few exceed this number by a significant margin. By engineering our pavers to 10,000 PSI, we provide a 25% increase in structural density that other manufacturers simply don’t offer.
Standard pavers often use limestone or softer local stone. Our foundation of granite fines is the what allows us to hit 10k PSI and ensures the stone won’t “pock” or degrade over time.
Higher compression during manufacturing doesn’t just add strength; it eliminates the microscopic air pockets found in lower PSI pavers. This results in a better looking, smoother face and significantly higher resistance to moisture infiltrating the paver.
While 8,000 PSI is sufficient for cars, 10,000 PSI is the threshold for heavy-duty point loads. If you are parking an RV, a large boat trailer, or heavy equipment, the extra strength is the difference between a surface that lasts and one that eventually breaks apart or cracks.
Our Lifetime Guarantee
Lowcountry Paver manufacturers interlocking concrete pavers, retaining wall, pool coping and other concrete hardscape products to the highest quality standards. This allows us to offer products that meet or exceed ASTM standards for their category and application including ASTM C-936, C-1372 & C-1319-17.
We provide a non-transferrable, Lifetime Guarantee on the structural integrity of our manufactured products. This guarantee is on the structural integrity of the stone itself and not the installation. If any installed product is deemed structurally defective by a Lowcountry Paver approved independent testing lab, beyond normal wear and tear, we will furnish and deliver new product of the same shape, thickness, color and style. Any material that proves to be structurally defective will be replaced providing material was installed according to the CMHA installation guidelines and specifications. Due to the nature of concrete products, color variances and the occurrence of efflorescence cannot be guaranteed. We cannot guarantee the color match of replacement units.
Original Proof of Purchase is required. This warranty does not apply to: Damage caused by acts of God, war or natural disaster; chipping, splitting, spalling or breakage that may be caused by impact, abrasion or improperly installed product; product used for the wrong application; and neglect or abuse. Normal wear and tear is to be expected over the course of ownership and is not covered under this warranty. Second quality product carries no warranty.
Our 30MM products are not recommended, or guaranteed, for vehicular applications. Our vehicular approved 60MM paving stone products are guaranteed for residential vehicular applications, such as driveways, with non-commercial vehicles such as cars & pickup trucks. Our 80MM paving stones, other than Turf-Block & Subway Stone, are guaranteed for all vehicular applications for vehicles of legal highway weight limit.
Quality questions.
PSI (pounds per square inch) is the industry measure of how much weight a paver can take before it cracks or fails — it’s the number that separates a driveway that lasts decades from one that starts crumbling in a few years. Most standard concrete pavers on the market are rated well below what’s needed for true commercial-grade performance. Lowcountry Paver’s granite-aggregate pavers exceed 10,000 PSI, about 25% stronger than typical pavers and stronger than standard poured concrete. Yes — when they’re manufactured right. Poured concrete is one continuous slab, so when the ground shifts, it cracks. Interlocking pavers are engineered as individual units that flex with ground movement instead of fracturing, and if one paver gets damaged, it can be swapped out on its own instead of tearing up the whole surface. Lowcountry Paver’s pavers exceed 10,000 PSI, built with a high-density granite composition that’s measurably stronger than a standard poured slab. The Lowcountry Paver Lifetime Guarantee covers the structural integrity of the paver itself against cracking — not normal wear and tear, and not the installation. Every Lowcountry Paver product meets or exceeds ASTM C-936, C-1372, and C-1319-17 standards, and if a product is deemed structurally defective by an approved independent testing lab (and installed per CMHA guidelines), we’ll furnish replacement material of the same shape, thickness, color, and style. It’s a level of structural assurance mass-market and big-box retailers typically don’t offer. Register your pavers to keep your warranty on file.
Not all pavers are created equal, and the differences aren’t always obvious until years after installation. Before you buy, check four things: PSI rating (compressive strength — higher is better), water absorption (under 1% is ideal; anything higher lets moisture in and sets up freeze-thaw damage), how the color is applied (pigment mixed through the entire paver holds up far longer than a surface dye that wears off), and third-party certification (look for ASTM C-936 compliance, not just a manufacturer’s word). Lowcountry Paver pavers check every one of these boxes. Have a spec question? Ask our team directly.
It depends entirely on how the paver was made. Lower-density pavers trap air pockets during manufacturing, which lets water in and causes “pocking” and structural failure once freeze-thaw cycles set in — and pavers colored with a surface paste will fade and white-speckle as that layer wears down. Lowcountry Paver’s tight-face manufacturing process eliminates those air pockets, and our color is mixed through the entire paver, not sprayed on top, so it won’t fade or wear away. We’re confident enough in that process to back it with a Lifetime Guarantee against cracking. Register your pavers to put that guarantee on record.
Side by side, it comes down to consistency. Mass-market pavers are prone to trapping moisture, fading within a few seasons, shipping with irregular sizing that throws off your pattern, and breaking down faster under heavy use or extreme weather. Lowcountry Paver products are built for low absorption, locked-in color, precision edges, traffic-rated strength, and freeze/thaw stability — the same five things big-box pavers routinely fall short on. For most homeowners and contractors, yes. A cheaper paver that fades, cracks, or needs replacing in 8-10 years costs more in the long run than one built to last 25+ years the first time. Lowcountry Paver backs its products with a Lifetime Guarantee against cracking — a level of structural assurance mass-market and big-box retailers typically don’t offer — so the upfront cost buys you out of future repair and replacement costs, not just a nicer-looking driveway.
