Questions? We've got answers.

How Much Do Pavers Cost for a Driveway or Patio?

Paver driveways and patios typically range from $15 to $30+ per square foot installed, depending on paver type, thickness, pattern, and local labor rates. Lowcountry Paver manufactures the material only, so for an accurate installed price in your area, request a free estimate through one of our trusted contractor partners across the Carolinas, Georgia, and Florida.

Are Pavers Better Than Poured Concrete?

For most homeowners, yes. Interlocking concrete pavers are engineered as individual units, so they flex with ground movement instead of cracking like a single poured slab. Lowcountry Paver’s pavers exceed 10,000 PSI, more than 25% stronger than the industry standard, and a damaged paver can be replaced on its own without repouring the whole surface.

How Long Do Concrete Pavers Last, and What Does the Warranty Cover?

Properly installed concrete pavers routinely last 25 years or more. Every Lowcountry Paver product meets or exceeds ASTM C-936, C-1372, and C-1319-17 standards, and we back the structural integrity of our pavers, retaining walls, and pool coping with a Lifetime Guarantee against cracking. What Paver Thickness Do I Need: 30mm, 60mm, or 80mm?

The right thickness depends on the load the surface will carry. 30mm pavers are for pedestrian-only areas like pool decks and walkways. 60mm pavers are the standard for residential driveways and support cars and light trucks. 80mm pavers are rated for commercial and heavy-vehicle applications. Contact us and we’ll help you confirm the right spec for your project.

What Are Permeable Pavers, and Do I Need Them?

Permeable pavers use wider joints filled with small aggregate that let rainwater filter through to the ground instead of running off, reducing pooling and stormwater runoff. They’re a popular choice across the Lowcountry for driveways, pool decks, and properties with stormwater requirements. Browse our permeable line, including King Street Cobble, to see if it fits your project.

How Do I Choose the Right Paver Color and Finish?

Lowcountry Paver offers 17+ colors across our Traditional, Coastal, and Cool Pool Collections, plus three finishes: Traditional for a clean, contemporary look, Tumbled for a worn, rustic feel, and our exclusive Tabby for the classic Lowcountry style.
