Paver Patios

Turn your backyard into the place everyone wants to be. Our paver patios handle Lowcountry heat and humidity, come in dozens of colors and patterns, and pair with fire pits, seat walls and outdoor kitchens.

Paver Driveways

A paver driveway adds curb appeal and outlasts poured concrete that cracks. Built on a properly compacted base, driveway pavers carry cars and trucks for decades, and single pavers can be swapped if ever needed.

Pool Decks

Cooler underfoot and slip-resistant around the water, paver pool decks are the go-to upgrade for Lowcountry pools. Ask about our Cool Pool Color Collection.

Walkways & Entries

Guide guests to the front door in style with a paver walkway that ties into your patio, driveway or landscaping.

Retaining Walls

Level a sloped yard, add raised planters, or build seat walls around a fire pit with our wall systems and capstones.

Know what to ask your installer.

Is the quote really free?

Yes. Requesting a quote costs nothing and there’s no obligation. Your Preferred Installer will visit, measure, and give you a written estimate.

Does Lowcountry Paver install pavers?

We manufacture the pavers and walls. Installation is done by our LCP Preferred Installers, independent local contractors we’ve vetted and trained on our products. Our team stays involved to make the match and answer product questions.

How soon will someone contact me?

A member of our team typically reaches out within [1 business day] to talk through your project before connecting you with an installer.

How much does a paver patio or driveway cost?

It depends on size, base prep, paver style and site access. Your installer will give you an itemized estimate after seeing the space.

Is Your Installer Certified to Work With Lowcountry Paver Products?

Ask before you sign anything. Certification means the crew has been trained on our exact base prep, compaction, and installation specs — the details that decide whether a driveway lasts 25+ years or starts heaving in five. Request a free estimate through one of our certified contractor partners across the Carolinas, Georgia, and Florida, and skip the guesswork.

What Base Depth and Compaction Will You Use Under My Pavers?

A driveway needs a minimum of 4–6 inches of compacted aggregate base, built up in compacted lifts — not simply dumped and leveled. An installer who can’t answer this clearly on-site is one to walk away from; it’s the single biggest factor in whether pavers stay flat or settle. Our certified partners follow manufacturer-specified base depths on every job.

Will I Get a Written, Itemized Estimate — or Just a Number?

Get it in writing, broken out by material, labor, base preparation, and any drainage or demolition work, before a shovel touches the ground. A verbal ballpark with no breakdown is where change-order surprises come from. Every Lowcountry Paver contractor partner provides a detailed written estimate — request yours here.

What Paver Thickness Do You Recommend, and Why?

30mm for pedestrian areas like pool decks and walkways, 60mm for residential driveways, 80mm for commercial or heavy-vehicle use. If an installer quotes a thickness without asking what the surface needs to carry, that’s worth a follow-up question. Our contractor partners are trained to spec the right product for your project, not just what’s easiest to install.

What's Your Warranty on Materials, and on Your Workmanship?

Ask for two separate answers: what the manufacturer guarantees, and what the installer guarantees on their own labor. Lowcountry Paver backs the structural integrity of our pavers, retaining walls, and pool coping with a Lifetime Guarantee against cracking — get the installer’s workmanship warranty in writing too. See what our warranty covers.

Can I See Recent Projects and Talk to a Past Customer?

A reputable installer has a portfolio and references ready before you ask for them. Look for tight, consistent joint lines, clean edge restraints, and a visible slope away from the house, not just a flattering photo of a finished patio. Every installer in our contractor network is vetted for craftsmanship before we send a single homeowner their way.

How Will You Handle Drainage on My Property?

Ask specifically how the surface will be graded and where the water goes. Pooling, erosion, and water intrusion near the foundation are the most common paver complaints, and they almost always trace back to a skipped drainage plan. If your site holds water, ask about permeable pavers, which let rainwater filter through the joints instead of running off — see our permeable options.
